The Samsung Z1 will be getting Tizen 2.4 update in a few days from now, probably on January 22. This will be the first update the Samsung device has received this year and it is a good thing to see Samsung supporting this device with the latest updates.
Information about this update was revealed by Samsung’s Managing Director of the South Korean company’s R&D Institute in India, Mr. Jason Dongwon Kwak.
Kwak was also quoted saying this update “will support SHAREit , WhatsApp voice call and many other features.” Some of the features that this update will bring with it include Ultra Data Saving mode, enhanced messaging, and the ability to hide your personal messages and memo and recording your voice along with your favorite songs.
In addition to the above mentioned feature, the Tizen 2.4 update will also bring support for memo creation, setup wizard and will feature easy video player controls.
Samsung has already the Tizen 2.4 beta firmware and so the one to be released on January 22 will be the final OS version.
