Samsung has the Galaxy A devices that target the mid-range market segment. With the Galaxy A8, we expect Samsung to start working on its successor that may be unveiled any day from today. Some of the specs of the Galaxy A9 have leaked online and show us what to expect when the phone is officially launched.

For the display, the Samsung Galaxy A9 will have a massive 6 inch one. This will be a slight bump from the 5.7 inch display found on the Galaxy A8. This display is expected to have a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The latest details have been revealed by India’s import/export authority Zauba. If these happen to be true, then this will be one massive mid-range phablet.

Powering the Galaxy A9 is a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 620 processor coupled with 3GB RAM. It will have an Adreno 510 GPU and 32GB of non-expandable storage space. These are some amazing specs especially coming from a mid-range device.

As for the battery, the Galaxy A9 will have a 3,500 mAh. We will know more about this phablet as days go by and when Samsung is about to launch it officially.
