Android 6.0 Marshmallow is already out on the market and we expect manufacturers to update some of their devices with this latest OS. We have heard manufacturers such as HTC, Sony among others promise to push out this update to their devices anytime from now.

As everyone focuses on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, we tend to forget that Android Lollipop is still out there and is equally as good. Some manufacturers such as Sony have said that they will skip Lollipop as its updates most of its recent devices directly to Android Marshmallow.

Samsung on its part has started rolling out Android 5.1.1 Lollipop to the Galaxy Note 3 Neo. The Galaxy Note 3 Neo was officially launched in February 2014 and has been available in many markets including Kenya.

Android 5.1.1 Lollipop for the Galaxy Note 3 Neo is currently rolling out in Korea and as expected will make its way to other markets in the next few weeks. This is an OTA (Over the air) that is available for three Galaxy Note 3 Neo models that are SM-N750L, SM-N750K, and SM-N750S. These are the models that can get the OTA updates at the moment but Samsung will be adding other models in the next few weeks.

The update is about 900MB in size so you should have a stable internet connection if you are planning to update your device. If you do not have the update yet, be patient and give it a few weeks.
