ZT Axon Elite

ZTE may not be the first company you think of when you think of smartphones. Even though it’s not that popular, the company tries to keep us interested with its amazing smartphones it releases every often.

The latest addition to the company’s portfolio is the ZTE Axon Elite. This is a high end device from the company that retails at a not so high price. The phone has a 5.5 inch LCD display with a Full HD resolution. This is a standard display going by what we have on the market at the moment.

Underneath, the ZTE Axon Elite sits the Snapdragon 810 processor that combined with 3GB of RAM ensures reliable performance. It looks like ZTE has gone all out in the performance department and this is something that I like. The phone has 32GB of internal storage space which can be expanded further using a mucroSD card.

As for the cameras, the ZTE Axon Elite has a duo camera at the back which consists of a 13MP one and a 2MP one. At the front is an 8MP front facing camera with a wide angle lens to ensure you get more people into your selfies.

Providing power to this phone is a 3.000 mAh battery which supports quick charging. For better security, the phone comes with a fingerprint reader, supports voice control, and eye-scan.

The phone will be on display at IFA 2015 and will be available in retail stores in Europe later this month before heading to other markets. It will be retailing at 420 EUR (approximately Ksh 50,000).
