Meerkat, the livestreaming app that allows people to stream live events directly to their Twitter followers has been available for Android in beta mode. The app has gained so much the last few weeks and is now out of beta and is available in the Google Play Store.

With Meerkat users are free to livestream directly to their Twitter followers. To do this, all you have to do is click on stream and your Twitter followers will be able to see the event you are streaming. For those who have this app, you get notifications when someone you follow starts a live stream. Meerkat is not alone as Twitter also launched its own streaming app called Periscope.
