Huawei has a new Tablet that it quietly unveiled yesterday in Malaysia. The Huawei Honor Tablet is the latest addition to the line up and comes with some amazing specs. This Tablet has full Smartphone capabilities as it can make Phone calls and send out SMS. The Huawei Honor is currently available for Pre-order in Malaysia at $183.77 ( approximately Kshs. 16,400 pre tax), officially, the tablet will be available in retail stores as from October 16th.

The Huawei Honor Tablet has an 8-inch IPS display screen that will definitely make you look weird when answering phone calls with it. The screen has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Under the frame, the Huawei Honor has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor with a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU and 1GB of RAM. There is also 16 GB of internal memory that can be expanded using a microSD card.

At the back sits a 5MP camera with a 0.3MP front facing one. In terms of connectivity, the Huawei Honor supports 3G HSPA+ that tops speeds of up to 42Mbps. A 4800mAh battery sits at the back to provide you with all the power you need. This tablet comes with Android 4.3 out of the box with Huawei’s Emotion UI 1.6 on top of it.
Launching the tablet in Malaysia is strategic for Huawei as per the recent report by IDC that shows that tablets with Smartphone capabilities are very popular in Asia.
