New Leaked Images of the Galaxy Note 4.

Despite the release date for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 fast approaching, leaks and other juicy information about the device cannot really be avoided. In this regard, the latest leaks from GSM Arena point towards some radical changes in the design of the device. The most notable is a real metallic frame that constitutes the entire edges of the device. Additionally, the metallic frame is chamfered, much like the expectations for the Galaxy Alpha. While these chamfered edges can be attributed to Apple’s iPhone, it is good to appreciate the fact that the phablet market was started by Samsung, and Apple in itself is gearing to venture into it. Moreover, Steve Jobs himself said that ‘Good artists copy, great artists steal’. Well it seems that Samsung has fully taken this quote to full consideration.

Back to the leaked photos, the Note 4 is expected to retain the faux leatherette signature, but they have done away with the fake stitching. It is also expected to have a 5.7inch 2560 by 1440 QHD display. Additionally, it borrows from the Galaxy S5’s heart rate monitor next to the camera lens. The photos, as shown below, surely show a somewhat premium device.

These could be close to the device, since Samsung themselves said that they are looking forward towards releasing devices made from new materials. Well, this may be it. There is surely going to be a showdown, especially due to the fact that both Samsung and Apple will be realising devices within the same week or so.

Nonetheless, we should keep in mind that these are just leaks, and may not necessarily represent the actual device. All in all, keep it here for any upcoming news and info on the Note 4 prior and post release.
