Facebook has redesigned its Windows Phone app and added some cool new features to it. Most of these new features as well as the design itself have been borrowed directly from the beta version of the app. The design overhaul did not affect t he looks of the app but managed to add new features.
This new app is fully integrated with the messenger app that has been in the WP app store for some time. Switching between the Facebook and the messenger apps is easy with this update.
With this new app, users will be able to shoot and upload videos directly to the app. In windows Phone 8.1 devices, Facebook has implemented the scored support for the people hub. What this does is it allows the app to take care of your events, photos and contacts in your people hub.
The overall performance of the app has also improved significantly.
