M-KOPA has announced that it has surpassed 5 million customers across Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa. Safaricom has secured another Ksh 15 billion Sustainability Linked Loan, bringing the total loan facility to Ksh 30 billion having announced the closure of a similar amount last year.
