    Samsung Launches Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G in Kenya, Starting from KES 49,000

    Samsung has unveiled its latest midrange smartphones, the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G, in Kenya. The devices are now available in Kenya, with pricing starting from KES 49,000.

    The new Galaxy A series introduces what Samsung calls “Awesome Intelligence,” a suite of AI tools designed to simplify everyday tasks, enhance productivity and improve creativity for users.

    Both devices are running on One UI 8.5 and bring a range of AI-driven features previously reserved for higher-end smartphones. Samsung is also integrating AI agents such as Bixby and Gemini.

    Upgraded Cameras

    Both smartphones feature a 50MP triple-camera system. These are paired with an improved image signal processor for sharper and more detailed photos.

    Samsung is doubling down on AI-powered photography with enhanced Nightography for low-light shots, AI-based subject recognition for better portraits, improved color balance and reduced noise and ultra-wide and macro lenses for added flexibility. 

    The Galaxy A57 5G further improves image processing and shutter speed.

    The Galaxy A57 5G leads the lineup with upgraded CPU, GPU, and NPU performance, targeting smoother multitasking, streaming, and content creation.

    Both devices feature

    • 5,000mAh battery with up to two days of usage
    • Super Fast Charging 2.0 (up to 60% in ~30 minutes)
    • Larger vapor cooling chamber for sustained performance
    • Bright Super AMOLED+ displays with Vision Booster
    • IP68 water and dust resistance

    Samsung is promising up to six generations of Android OS updates and up to six years of security updates. 

    Pricing and Availability in Kenya

    The new Galaxy A series is available at Samsung Experience Stores and authorized retailers nationwide.

    • 8GB + 256GB – KES 68,300
    • 8GB + 128GB – KES 60,900

    Galaxy A37 5G pricing

    • 8GB + 256GB – KES 60,200
    • 6GB + 128GB – KES 49,000
