Jumia Kenya has officially kicked off its Black Friday 2025 campaign. It plans to offer shoppers across the country discounts of up to 70% on millions of products. The month-long event will run from October 31 to November 30, 2025.

According to Vinod Goel, CEO of Jumia Kenya, this year’s Black Friday coincides with a period of rapid growth in online shopping in Kenya.

“Jumia Kenya is growing at neckbreak speed with an influx of new customers and more frequent shopping by existing customers, proving the trust Kenyans have in Jumia,” said Goel. “Black Friday, a month-long event offering up to 70% off, is an early Christmas gift to our customers—helping them enjoy a wonderful and pocket-friendly festive season.”

The campaign features exclusive deals across major categories including smartphones, home appliances, fashion, beauty, electronics and baby products.

Beyond discounts, Jumia is also emphasizing faster delivery. Shoppers in Nairobi can now use Jumia Instant, a 4-hour delivery service, while customers nationwide can expect deliveries within 1–3 days, even in remote regions like Mandera, Garissa, and Lodwar. The company has also expanded its logistics footprint to over 300 pickup stations across Kenya.

Goel added that Jumia’s Black Friday is about more than just discounts:

“Black Friday is more than just a sales event, it’s a catalyst for digital inclusion and economic empowerment. With local vendor participation on Jumia rising from 40% to 60% this year, Black Friday is helping SMEs scale, reach new audiences, and shape the future of e-commerce in Kenya.”
