TikTok has long been the app where unknown songs go viral overnight, catapulting artists into stardom. From dance challenges to viral sound bites, the platform has shaped global music charts  and now it’s making things a little more structured for musicians in Kenya.

The newly launched TikTok for Artists is an all-in-one insights hub designed for musicians, labels, and managers.

    Key Features

    • Song performance metrics – You can track the number of views, posts and creator engagements per track.
    • Post performance data – It provides an option to see a breakdown of views, likes, comments, shares and even how many people finish watching a post.
    • Follower insights – You get audience demographics such as gender, age and language.
    • Guided tools – Artists are provided with step-by-step guides on how to use TikTok’s promotional features.
    • Career support – There are resources designed to help artists build sustainable and long-term music careers.
    • Pre-Release tool – Set up campaigns for upcoming albums and allow fans to pre-save directly to Spotify, Apple Music, or their platform of choice.

Kenyan creators no longer have to fly blind as they get access to hard numbers and actionable insights with TikTok for Artists. Musicians can now see in real time which songs spark engagement and which ones flop instead of guessing which posts connect with fans.

    Availability

Artists, labels, and managers can sign up through the TikTok for Artists portal https://artists.tiktok.com/.
