Last week, Huawei officially unveiled its latest wearables, the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 Series and the HUAWEI Band 10, to the Kenyan market. Huawei hasn’t been active in the Kenyan market but it looks like that is changing. These new devices offer a balance of bold style, powerful fitness tools, and affordable pricing.
“Kenya is a rapidly growing hub for digital wellness, and we’re proud to bring global innovations like the WATCH FIT 4 and Band 10 to this market,” said Jin Renbin, Device Manager at Huawei Kenya. “These devices are slim, powerful, and smart, designed for both style-conscious individuals and serious fitness enthusiasts.”

The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 stays true to Huawei’s “Fashion Active” philosophy thanks to its sleek rectangular design and its weight of just 27 grams. It is powered by a 400mAh battery delivering up to 10 days of usage per charge. It also supports ultra-precise fitness tracking as well as dual-band GNSS for accurate route mapping, offline topographic maps, barometric elevation readings, and water-resistant freediving up to 40 meters.

On the other hand, the HUAWEI Band 10 is perfect for minimalists or beginners at only 15 grams. It can last up to 14 days on a single charge and even gives you two days of use on a quick 5-minute top-up. Plus, both wearables come equipped with continuous heart rate monitoring, SpO₂ tracking, 24/7 HRV (Heart Rate Variability) tracking, and sleep pattern insights powered by AI to offer real-time health guidance.
“We are integrating AI more deeply into health tracking,” noted Adam Lane, Huawei Kenya’s Policy & Partnerships Manager. “This supports a more proactive approach to wellness, including emotional and cardiovascular health.”
To make sure these wearables fit into everyday Kenyan life, Huawei customized the WATCH FIT 4 and Band 10 with workout modes like running, cycling, and hiking, and partnered with local tech startups and universities to explore public wellness data initiatives.
“We’ve taken a localized approach to ensure relevance,” noted Wilfred Odera, Marketing Manager at Huawei Kenya. “Our goal is for these wearables to be daily wellness companions for every Kenyan.”
Pricing & Availability
The WATCH FIT 4 is launching at a discounted KES 19,999 (down from KES 21,999), while the Band 10 retails at KES 7,999 for the aluminium alloy version and KES 6,999 for the plastic variant. Both devices can be purchased at major retail partners like Anisuma, Miniso, and Phone Place, and Huawei is also teaming up with local telcos and retail chains to offer instalment plans and promotions.
“Affordability doesn’t mean compromise,” Jin Renbin added. “We’re combining premium features with accessible price points so these devices reach a broad demographic across Kenya from students to professionals and athletes.”
