Last week, TikTok announced the rollout of its STEM feed to users in Kenya. The feed launched in Europe and the US last year and it has finally made its way to Kenya.

TikTok STEM Feed is a dedicated feed for educational and inspiring STEM content. TikTok says the launch of this feed will empower discovery  on TikTok and connect a dynamic community of people over shared interests.

The STEM feed, which features alongside the For You feed, opens up a world of knowledge from respected experts in their fields. The feed, which has so far, included English-speaking content with auto-translate subtitles, has seen science, technology, engineering, and mathematics content grow globally by 35% since the launch of the STEM feed.

How to Access the TikTok STEM Feed

The STEM feed can be accessed by opening the TikTok app and swiping left to right on your for you page. When you access it for the first time, you will see a prompt letting you know that with a bit of information about what the feed is about.

“We believe discovery is essential to the TikTok experience, and we’re always looking to help our community uncover new and relevant content through introducing new exciting formats. We hope as the STEM feed continues to evolve and expand across Europe, we will continue to inspire a new generation of engineers, mathematicians and Science enthusiasts!” said TikTok.
