The vivo Y27S is the latest from the company to launch in Kenya. This phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor which is not a new chip and we have had it on so many phones. We saw this chip on so many phones in 2022 from the Redmi 10C to the realme 9i. Having the same on a phone on the market in 2024 is not exciting.
The processor aside, the vivo Y27s is available locally for Ksh 33,000 according to the company. This is a bit expensive in my opinion as such a phone should not cost more than 25K. For 33K, you can get better phones with even better processors including the Infinix Hot 40 Pro or the OPPO A78.
