Tecno is yet to officially launch the Camon 20 series in Kenya but that has not stopped some e-commerce sites from listing the phone on their platforms. The company is set to officially launch the phone in the country anytime from tomorrow and has so far not shared any details about it.

Jumia has the smartphone listed on its platform. The e-commerce giant has also listed the other phones within this series. One other e-commerce platform, Omaar Marketplace, has listed the phone for Ksh 28,000. The company has shared this through its social media platforms as seen below.

The Tecno Camon 20 will be the 4th smartphone launch by the company in Kenya this year. It will be joining the Phantom X2, the Spark 10 series and the Phantom V Fold.

The Tecno Camon 20 Pro is the successor to the Camon 19 Pro from last year. I did love the Camon 19 Pro when I used it. The phone launched with a higher price tag of Ksh 33,799, it is good to see its successor available for a much lower price.

    Tecno Camon 20 Pro  Specifications

The Tecno Camon 20 Pro has a 6.8 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 Pixels. This display has a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is exactly the same one the company used on the Camon 19 Pro.

The Camon 20 Pro has a triple camera setup at the back made up of a 64 MP main sensor plus a 2 MP and AI sensors. For selfies, the phone has a 32MP which should be better than the 16MP sensor on the Camon 19 Pro.

Powering the Camon 20 Pro is the MediaTek G96 Processor although some platforms are listing the Helio G99 as the processor powering this phone. The Helio G96 is the same processor used on the Camon 19 Pro from last year. In addition to the processor, the phone has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage as standard.

For the battery, the Camon 20 Pro has a 5,000 mAh unit that supports 33W fast charging. This is the exact combination we saw on the Camon 19 Pro from last year.

The Tecno Camon 20 Pro will be a hard sell to be honest since it is not that different from the Camon 19 Pro from last year. I will update you with more information when the phone is officially in Kenya.
