ASUS has unveiled its latest innovation, the Zenbook S 13 OLED (UX5304), the world’s slimmest 13.3-inch OLED laptop. With its sleek design, the device is also the most eco-friendly Zenbook ever produced, offering users an ultraportable laptop that delivers performance, sustainability, and connectivity. The Zenbook S 13 OLED is designed with recycled metals and plastics in its construction, an eco-friendly plasma ceramic aluminum, and halogen-free electronics. This makes it the most environmentally friendly Zenbook ever produced.

One of the standout features of the Zenbook S 13 OLED is its super-slim and lightweight design, weighing just 1 kg and having a profile of only 1 cm. The laptop achieves its lightweight design by using advanced techniques and materials in its construction, such as circuit boards with fewer layers and a higher wiring density, and precision CNC machining to make more space available for components. The motherboard is precision-engineered to house an additional, ultrathin fan that increases airflow for better cooling, resulting in a laptop that is 25% slimmer than its predecessor.

The Zenbook S 13 OLED is built for performance, harnessing the power of up to 13th Gen Intel Core i7 processors with 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD. There is a full set of I/O ports for on-the-go connections, and a long-lasting 63 Wh battery that supports up to 14 hours of video streaming. The device features a 16:10 2.8K (2880 x 1800) ASUS Lumina OLED display that’s Dolby Vision certified, with Pantone Validated color rendering and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, ensuring incredible detail and the deepest black levels.

The Zenbook S 13 OLED is an EPEAT Gold registered product that has a positive environmental impact across the entire product lifecycle, from material use and manufacturing to assembly, use, and end of life. The device incorporates post-industrial recycled (PIR) magnesium-aluminum alloy in the keyboard cover, chassis, and lid, reducing its carbon footprint by more than 50%. The keycaps and speakers incorporate post-consumer-recycled (PCR) plastics, and the speakers also use ocean-bound plastics. The packaging is 100% recyclable, with reusable and compostable materials, and uses 100% FSC Mix-certified paper from responsibly managed forests, controlled wood, and recycled sources. The paper packing inserts can also be easily transformed into useful laptop stands.
