LG Electronics has once again cemented its position as a design leader, having received a total of 23 honors at this year’s iF Design Awards. The awards recognize LG’s steadfast commitment to exceptional product design and user experience, further establishing the brand’s reputation as a global innovator.

The iF Design Award, held annually in Germany, is widely considered one of the world’s top three industrial design awards. This year, 11,000 products from around the globe were submitted, competing for recognition in nine different award categories. Of these, LG Electronics won 23 accolades, including one iF Gold Award for Product Design.

LG’s Head of Corporate Design Center, Hwang Sung-gul, attributed the success to the company’s commitment to developing innovative lifestyle solutions based on extensive customer experience data. He stated that “moving forward, we will continue to offer differentiated designs that provide first, unique and new customer experiences, enhanced convenience, as well as an emotional element that can bring smiles to our customers and across the industry.”

One of the standout products recognized at the iF Design Awards was the LG PuriCare AeroFurniture, which won an iF Gold Award for Product Design. This unique product is a purifier that doubles as a side table and mood lamp, featuring a compact design that makes it ideal for use in various spaces, such as a bedroom or living room. The AeroFurniture delivers personalized performance and design options, with different color combinations possible and two types of tabletop to choose from, making it an ideal product to match any taste or home interior.

Another LG innovation that was recognized for outstanding product design was the LG OLED Flex, a groundbreaking TV featuring the world’s first bendable 42-inch OLED screen. This TV allows users to adjust the screen curvature according to their viewing preference, providing a more immersive experience. Additionally, the LG refrigerator with MoodUP™ technology was also recognized for its innovative design. This next-generation home appliance features color-changing door panels that can be controlled via the LG ThinQ app, allowing users to customize the look of their fridge according to their mood.

Other LG products recognized at the iF Design Awards include the LG gram Style, a powerful laptop with a sleek and elegant design that appears to change color depending on lighting and viewing angle, and LG OMNIPOD, which was awarded in the Product Concept category. LG OMNIPOD presents new mobility experiences, boasting a vehicle cabin that can serve as an extension of one’s home. LG ThinQ, the company’s smart home platform, was also recognized in the Communication category for enhancing convenience by offering intuitive functions.
