Itel is a company we don’t cover much here but they do release new smartphones regularly. The latest from the company is the itel A60 starting from Ksh 9,500 on Jumia. This is the successor to the itel A58 from last year. The A58 did well within its price range and the company hopes to replicate that with this new device.
The entry level market segment does not see much action these days. Even companies like Tecno do not focus that much on this segment with their devices in the Spark series costing as much as 20k.
The itel A60 comes with most if not all the entry level specs you expect on a smartphone within its price range in 2023. The display is a 6.6 inch IPS LCD one which is a good size. Powering the phone is the unisoc SC9832E processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage space. It has a dual camera setup at the back made up of an 8MP main sensor.
