Samsung Electronics has announced the global availability of its Galaxy S23 series, which includes the Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 smartphones. The new devices come with advanced features and capabilities that make them the ultimate premium phones from the brand. Preorder results exceeded those of the previous Galaxy S22 series, with over 60% of consumers opting for the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra features a 200MP Adaptive Pixel sensor and an embedded S Pen, which will enable users to explore their creativity like never before. The other models in the series, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23, also come with impressive cameras that will give users more freedom to explore their creative abilities. In addition, the devices come with the world’s fastest mobile graphics, thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy.

All these three variants will be available in Kenya soon. As for prices, you can see that below:

    • Samsung Galaxy S23 – Ksh 135,999 (256GB)
    • Samsung Galaxy S23+ – Ksh 154,999 (256GB)
    • Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra – Ksh 195,999 (256GB) and Ksh 209,999 (512GB).

The base model Galaxy S23 is priced at Ksh 135,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128 GB storage model. The Galaxy S23+ starts at Ksh 154,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The premium Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra starts at Ksh 195,999 for the 12 GB RAM and 256GB model, while the 12 GB and 512GB storage variant is priced at Ksh 209,999.

The design of the Galaxy S23 series is eye-catching and advances Samsung’s sustainability commitments, with more components made using recycled materials than any other Samsung Galaxy smartphone. The devices come in four nature-inspired matte hues: Phantom Black, Cream, Green, and Lavender. There are also a variety of unique online exclusive colors available only at Samsung.com.

Samsung is also committed to increasing inclusivity and affordability for consumers. The company has partnered with KCB and Safaricom as the first two official device financing partners in Kenya, with more partnerships in the works to allow more Kenyans to acquire these devices at a pace that works for them. These strategic partnerships will shape the device acquisition landscape in Kenya.

The Galaxy S23 series unlocks the next level of mobile security with Samsung Message Guard. This powerful sandboxing tool protects against zero-click exploit attacks, a new kind of cyberattack where just receiving an image can compromise a device – even without the user’s interaction. Samsung Message Guard acts as a virtual quarantine, trapping harmful images and ensuring you receive safe images.
