    Xiaomi Unveils Latest Flagship Devices: The Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro

    Xiaomi has unveiled its latest flagship devices, the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro, for the global market. Both smartphones feature high-end specifications and Leica optics, as well as IP68 water and dust resistance.

    The Xiaomi 13 boasts a 6.36-inch flexible E6 AMOLED flat screen with a peak brightness of 1900 nits, 120Hz refresh rate, and 93.3% screen-to-body ratio. On the other hand, the Pro model has a larger 6.78-inch 2K flexible E6 Samsung AMOLED LTPO screen with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support, as well as a 1920Hz PWM dimming feature. Both phones are powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with a large VC liquid cooling area.

    The Xiaomi 13 Pro boasts a triple 50MP rear camera system with a 1″ ultra-large Sony IMX989 sensor, Leica optics, 8 aspherical lenses, and ALD ultra-low reflectance coating. The phone’s new Leica 75mm focal length telephoto lens has a floating focus design that enables users to shoot original 75mm telephoto and portraits, as well as super close-ups. The device also features a 115° ultra-wide camera and HyperOIS.

    Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 13 has a 50MP Sony IMX800 sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a new 10MP 3.2X telephoto camera, all with Leica optics. Both phones have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The Xiaomi 13 Pro has a 3D bio-ceramic back, while the Xiaomi 13 has a 2.5D glass back.

    The Xiaomi 13 has a 4500mAh battery with 67W wired charging, while the Pro model has a 4,820mAh battery with support for 120W wired charging. Both phones offer 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.

    In terms of software, the phones run on MIUI 14 based on Android 13 and have dual SIM capabilities, USB Type-C, Hi-Res audio, stereo speakers, and Dolby Atmos. The Xiaomi 13 has up to 12GB of  RAM with 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage, while the Xiaomi 13 Pro has up to 12GB of RAM with 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Both phones are compatible with 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS (L1 + L5), NavIC, USB Type-C, and NFC.

    Xiaomi 13 Lite

    Xiaomi has also announced the Xiaomi 13 Lite, which features a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1300 nits. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 processor with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

    In terms of cameras, the Xiaomi 13 Lite has a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP telemacro camera. It also has a 20MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The phone is backed by a 4,250mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.

    The Xiaomi 13 Lite is also IP53 rated for dust and water resistance and features an in-display fingerprint sensor for added security. It runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13 and supports dual SIM cards, 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.1.
