One UI 5.1 starts rolling out to the Galaxy S22 and Z Fold 4

Samsung is rolling out its latest update, One UI 5.1, to several of its high-end Galaxy smartphones. The update was first debuted with the recently launched Galaxy S23 series, but Samsung is already making it available to older devices. The One UI 5.1 update is now available for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra in some European countries, and the Galaxy Z Fold 4 has also started receiving the update.

The One UI 5.1 update comes with firmware versions S90xBXXU3CWAI for the Galaxy S22 series and F936BXXU1CWAC for the Galaxy Z Fold 4. The update brings a range of new features and UI improvements to the smartphones, including a new Gallery app. The update is available in Germany and the Netherlands for the Galaxy Z Fold 4, and other European countries are expected to receive it soon.

The One UI 5.1 update has a download size of around 2GB, so it is recommended to download it using a Wi-Fi network. To check for the update, users can navigate to Settings » Software update and tap Download and install. At this pace, it looks like users of older high-end Galaxy smartphones will get to experience One UI 5.1 before Galaxy S23 series users. Samsung is expected to release the update across the world before the end of this month.
