Showmax has released a first-look teaser for the highly anticipated second season of Kenyan drama series Single Kiasi. The show follows the lives of three women living in Nairobi as they navigate marriage, relationships, and their careers, all while maintaining a strong bond of friendship.

Season two picks up a few months after the dramatic events of the season one finale, and will see the characters facing transformative events that will impact their friendship in unexpected ways. The series, which is directed by Insignia Productions duo Grace Kahaki and Philippe Bresson, will premiere on 16 January 2023. It features a mix of returning cast members and new actors, including Grace Wacuka, Fidel Maithya, Quincy Rapando, and Ciku Shire. Showmax has also announced that it has more titles lined up for Kenyan subscribers in 2023, including The Real Housewives of Nairobi.

Single Kiasi has quickly become a fan favorite in Kenya and beyond, thanks to its relatable and nuanced portrayal of the lives of modern women. In the first season, viewers watched as Sintamei, Mariah, and Rebecca navigated the challenges of career, family, and love, all while leaning on each other for support.

Now, in the much-anticipated second season, fans can expect even more drama, romance, and heart as the characters face new challenges and experiences. The teaser trailer hints at big changes on the horizon for the three friends, including new love interests, career opportunities, and personal struggles.

But no matter what life throws their way, Sintamei, Mariah, and Rebecca know they can always count on each other. Their bond is tested in season two, but ultimately proves to be stronger than ever.

Fans won’t have to wait much longer to find out what happens next, as Single Kiasi season two premieres on 16 January 2023. Make sure to mark your calendars and tune in to Showmax to see all the action unfold.

In the meantime, check out the teaser trailer and get excited for what promises to be an unforgettable season of Single Kiasi.
