OPPO is set to unveil yet another smartphone in Kenya. The company has confirmed that it will be launching the OPPO Find X5 in Kenya later this week.

“This flagship introduces an advanced camera system powered by MariSilicon X, the dedicated imaging Neural Processing Unit that supports 4K Ultra Night Video capabilities and more,” a statement from the company read.

The OPPO Find X5 will be the second major unveiling by the company in Kenya this year. The company already launched the OPPO Reno 7 which is available locally for Ksh 43,000.

The Find X5 will come with a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. This display supports 120Hz refresh rate as we have come to expect from flagship devices in 2020.

Powering the Find X5 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor that the company has paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. For the cameras, it has a triple setup at the back made up of a 50 MP primary sensor, 50MP ultra-wide sensor and a 13MP telephoto lens. For selfies, it does come with a 32MP front-facing camera from Sony.

A 4,800 mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast wired charging should help keep the phone on for an entire day.

OPPO will be launching the Find X5 in Kenya later this week and we should have details including the price then.
