Itel has unveiled yet another smartphone in the Kenya market. This new phone, the itel P38, is currently available in stores for Ksh 10,500.

This is the successor to the itel P37 series and is available in two variants, the itel P38 and the P38 Pro. The series comes with an upgraded design and a few other improvements under the hood.

The phone comes a few weeks after itel unveiled its new brand Ambassador, King Kaka, who has endorsed the smartphone.

    The itel P38 Specifications

The itel P38 comes with a plastic body with a sleek design with a fingerprint scanner at the very back. It does have smooth and rounded edges that not only give it a nice design but also make it comfortable to hold. The series is available in Galaxy blue, Nebula black, and Spruce green.

As for the display, the itel P38 has a 6.6-inch one with a Waterdrop notch. This display has thin bezels with screen to body ratio of 90% that allows you to enjoy a wider vision experience.

At the back, the itel P38 has an 8MP main camera with a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies. The cameras have LED flash, the Bokeh Effect, and a panorama mode.

Powering the P38 series is the capable MediaTek Helio P22 processor that has been paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The phone comes with Android 11 Go Edition out of the box and also has the PowerVR GE8320 GPU.

A massive 5,000 mAh battery sits at the back that should easily last you for more than a day. This battery supports 15W fast charging which should speed up the charging process.

    Key Specs

    • Display: 6-inch (720×1,612)
    • Front Camera: 5MP
    • Rear Camera: 8MP
    • RAM: 2GB
