The Xiaomi Poco M4 Pro is one of the latest in the Poco series to launch in Kenya. The phone is available in stores in Kenya for around Ksh 22,000 on Jumia and slightly above that through other retailers. So far, the Ksh 22,000 on Jumia is the cheapest I have seen in the country and this is quite reasonable considering the fact that other retailers are selling this phone for as high as Ksh 30,000.
The Poco M4 Pro is the successor to the Poco M3 series which was quite successful. The Poco series phones are known to be packed with desirable specs at reasonable prices. The M3 series lived up to this and Xiaomi expects the M4 series to do the same.
The Poco M4 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 processor which is not the best in my opinion as it is a bit old and Xiaomi could have at least gone with the Dimensity series just to shake things up a bit. This processor is still good but a Dimensity one could have been much better.
