The Infinix Zero 5G will finally be launched in Kenya in a few days and those who want to be among the first ones to get this phone can pre-order it right now for Ksh 32,999. The phone is available through Xpark here.
The Infinix Zero 5G is the latest in the Infinix Zero series with its predecessor being the Infinix Zero X from late last year. The Zero X was quite a gamechanger with its superior camera performance that rivalled almost all other smartphones within its price range. This is sort of what we are expecting with the Zero 5G.
We first learned about the existence of the Infinix Zero 5G back in January but it never launched in Kenya till now.
Infinix Zero 5G Specifications
The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 Master processor which is quite an upgrade when compared to the Helio G95 processor we had on the Infinix Zero X. The Dimensity 900 Master processor is good for high-performance gaming.
Besides the processor, the Zero 5G has a 6.78-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz Touch sampling rate. This should be good for gamers who may appreciate the high touch sampling rate as it provides smooth transitions.
The phone has a 48MP triple camera setup at the back and has a 5000 mAh battery that supports 33W quick charging. This is a downgrade in my opinion as the Zero X Pro has a 108MP triple camera setup and a battery supporting 45W fast charging. Considering the Zero X series was released towards the end of 2021, its successor should have some of its stand-out features such as the camera and battery charging speeds.
