    If you are on the market looking for a new smartphone under Ksh 10,000 in Kenya, there are a number of good and not-so-good options to choose from. Ideally, you want to go with a smartphone from a brand that you recognize and has a presence in Kenya in case you have any issues with the phone or it is damaged and you want it repaired.

    In this list, I will highlight the top 5 smartphones under 10k. All these phones are available through e-commerce retailers as well as offline retailers across the country. I have included a link to each phone in case you want to buy it right away.

    This has always been my best affordable smartphone for quite some time. It is well built and packaged and gets the job done at such an affordable price. This is not the most recent phone but it can still compete with some of the recent phones from other brands.

    You can get the Tecno POP 5P in Kenya for around Ksh 9,800. This is part of Tecno’s POP series is also its entry-level series. Tecno does not market this series aggressively as its other line-ups, but they do sell well. It is the direct competitor to the Infinix Smart HD 2021. series.
