Realme 9i Will be Launched in Kenya on February 24

Realme is set to launch its latest smartphone, the reame 9i, in Kenya later this month. The company is yet to officially confirm this but I have been updated that this is the date currently set for the launch.

The realme 9i is the successor to the realme 8i. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor with either 4 or 6GB of RAM and 64 or 128GB of internal storage space. The phone comes with a triple camera setup at the back, 6.6 inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.

The back camera setup consists of a 50MP main sensor, 2MP portrait lens and another 2MP macro lens. For selfies, it does come with a 16MP camera.

Display: 6.62-inch FHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate.

Processor: Snapdragon 680 chipset.

GPU: Adreno 610 GPU.

RAM: 4GB or 6GB RAM models.

Storage: 64GB or 128GB storage.

Rear camera: 50 MP + 2MP + 2MP.

Front camera: 16MP.

Battery: 5000mAh battery with 33W charging support.

Software: Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0.

Realme 9i Price in Kenya

Realme is yet to confirm the price of the 9i in Kenya but in other markets the 4GB.64GB model is available for around Ksh 21,000. When launched in Kenya, it should be around this price but we will have to wait for the company to officially confirm this.
