The vivo Y01 was recently launched in Kenya and is currently available in stores for Ksh 11,500. This phone comes to the market a few weeks after the launch of the vivo Y15s. The Y15s is available in the country for Ksh 12,000. Their prices are not that far apart so you can choose either option if you are on the market looking for a new phone.

The vivo Y01 has some decent specs for a phone within its price range. It does come with a capable processor and on paper should give you quite good performance.

Vivo has not really been aggressive in the smartphone space in Kenya and this might change this year. The company is releasing new smartphones often and in just this month, it launched two phones. Vivo seems to be targeting the low-end market segment. This market is highly dynamic and very competitive. They do have a chance though as their devices are quite good.

Have a look at the key specifications of the vivo Y01.
