The OPPO A95 is Now Available in Kenya for Ksh 34,000

OPPO A95

OPPO has today announced the availability of its latest smartphone, the OPPO A95, in Kenya. The OPPO A95 is available in Kenya for Ksh 34,000. This is the successor to the A94 that has been in retail stores in Kenya since last year.

As it is with other devices in OPPO’s A-series, the A95 offers a combination of good specs for its price. At this price, the A95 is competing with some capable devices from Xiaomi, Samsung and a few other brands and even some of its devices from 2020.

“From work to play, OPPO A95 offers an all-round smartphone experience that allows you to take on each day with confidence,” said Muthoni Wachira, OPPO Kenya Head of PR.

OPPO A95 Specifications

The OPPO A95 is powered by the mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor that has been paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage space. This can be expanded further using a microSD card.  This processor should handle most tasks with ease.

The phone comes with Android 11 with colorOS 11.1 out of the box. At the moment, OPPO has not confirmed if this phone will get Android 12 update anytime soon.

A 6.43-inch display is on the front of this phone. This is a Full-HD AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate. I would have expected at least 90Hz refresh rate for a phone within its price range.  The fingerprint scanner is embedded underneath the display and the 16MP front-facing camera is housed in the cutout at the top of the display.

The main camera at the back is a 48MP one paired with a 2MP bokeh sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. Still at the back is where we have the 5000 mAh battery used to power this phone. This battery support 33W VOOC flash charge technology.

OPPO A95 Price

As I have mentioned above, the OPPO A95 in Kenya is available for Ksh 33,999. The phone is available in Starry Black and Rainbow Silver colours.
