The Tecno Camon 18 is Rumored to Have a 60X Zoom Camera at The Back

Tecno Camon 18 camera

By now it is clear that the Tecno Camon 18 series is set to be unveiled in the coming weeks. The exact date is still unknown and the processor is the only thing Tecno has confirmed so far. The company has revealed that the phone will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 processor. This will make it the first smartphone in Africa to launch with this processor.

The Helio G96 promises some major improvements including support for 120Hz refresh rate and 108MP sensors.

Besides the processor, the Tecno Camon 18 is also rumoured to have a back camera that supports 60X zoom according to Gizmo China.  The publication did not reveal much about this camera but this might be the same one we saw on the Infinix Zero X series that was unveiled earlier this week.

Just like the camera setup on the Zero X, the one on the Camon 18 will have 3 sensors and the main one should be a 108MP one, at least for the most expensive variant.

So far we only know about the camera and processors, we should get more details as we get closer to October when the phone will be unveiled.

Tecno Spark 8P

Besides the Camon 18 series, Tecno is also set to unveil the Spark 8P which will be the successor to the Spark 7P. We have already seen the standard Spark 8 which you can get in stores in Kenya and the Spark 8P should be the next addition to the series.

The Tecno Spark 8P is said to be powered by the Helio G70 processor that will be paired with 4GB of RAM. We should also be getting more information on this phone in the coming weeks.
