These are the Xiaomi and Poco Phones Scheduled to Get Android 12

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 in Kenya

Android 12 will be the next version of Android and it should be unveiled later this year. Google already announced this version but the stable version will only be available towards the end of the year.

With this new version of Android 12 coming to the market, we expect some devices to get the update later in the year or early next year. This should happen with most of the 2021 mid-range and higher end smartphones and some manufacturers such as HMD Global may even update some of their entry level devices.

For Xiaomi, it will be updating some of its smartphones with Android 12 when it becomes available. Xiaomi is not always among the first smartphone manufacturers to roll the update to its devices but this time it might just be. The company will be updating most of its current devices according to Xiaomiui Twitter account. This is not the company’s official Twitter account but it still gives as a clue on what to expect.

The list included flagship devices from 2020 and 2021 and covers both Redmi and Mi devices. The list also includes some of the devices from Xiaomi that will not be getting the update. This list is quite strange as some of the devices that are not scheduled to get the update include the Redmi Note 9 series from last year.
