HMD Global has announced the availability of the Nokia G20 in Kenya. This is the latest series in the company’s growing line-up and was announced to a global audience earlier in the year. The Nokia G20 will be available in stores in Kenya for Ksh 19,000.

The Nokia G series is the company’s intermediate series that promises long battery life and the same Pure Android experience (Android One) we have seen on other Nokia smartphones.

The Nokia G20 gets the same three years of monthly security updates, two years of Android upgrades and comes with Android 11 out of the box. These are standard expectations for a Nokia smartphone launched in 2021.

The phone comes with a quad-camera setup at the back with a 48MP main sensor. The other three are a 5MP and two 2MP sensors. For selfies the phone has an 8MP sensor.

Providing all the power on this phone is a 5050 mAh battery.
