If you have a refrigerator in your house, then you will agree with me that there are times that you do not know what is inside. This may be when you want to get a drink or are writing down your shopping list. At this time, you may want to confirm if what you are looking for is in there or not.

LG was imagining this same scenario when working on the LG InstaView door-to-door refrigerator. This fridge allows you to see what is inside by knocking on its door twice.

The knock twice feature is what stands out with the LG InstaView, it is not something that we see anywhere else. With that said, let us look at the few things you should know about the LG InstaView.

    Easily See What’s Inside

This is the standout feature as we have mentioned above. With two quick knocks, you can see inside the compartment without ever opening the door, reducing cold air loss to help keep food fresher longer.

The door uses the same technology LG has used on the displays it has on its smartphones. Knocking it twice lights up the interior giving you a clear view of what is inside.

    Less Cold Air Loss

Since the LG InstaView lets you see what is inside the fridge without opening the doors, it helps prevent cold air loss that mostly comes about by opening the doors.

Not opening the fridge door all the time reduces cold air loss and this helps keep the food fresh for longer. Opening and closing the fridge regularly also means that the fridge needs to work harder just to stay cool and therefore ends up using more power.

    Premium design

Functionality aside, the LG InstaView door-to-door looks stylish with its premium finish. It comes with a premium matte black finish with the unique square pocket handle and sleek finishing. With a premium design, it is not just another kitchen appliance to fill space in your kitchen but one that will fit well and stand out.
