    HMD Global Releases its Android 11 Update Roadmap

    HMD Global has officially released its Android 11 upgrade roadmap after teasing it a week before. In the roadmap, Nokia has listed a total of 14 phones legible to receive Android 11.

    The roadmap kicks off this year with priority given to the recently availed Nokia 8.3 5G. The company hopes it will have updated all of its legible devices by the end of Q2 2021.

    The Nokia Phones to Be Updated to Android 11 and When

    Nokia will start its Android11 update roadmap with a total of four devices: Nokia 8.3 5G, Nokia 2.2, Nokia 5.3, and Nokia 8.1.

    The company will update these four Nokia devices to Android 11 between Q4 2020 and Q1 2021.

    The next phones in the roster are; Nokia 1.3, Nokia 4.2, Nokia 2.4, Nokia 2.3, and Nokia 3.4. Owners of these Nokia phones should expect to receive the OTA update between January and March next year.

    Nokia 3.2, Nokia 7.2, and Nokia 6.2 users will be served with the update somewhere between Q1 and Q2 next year.

    And finally, Nokia will wrap up its roadmap by seeding out the Android 11 update to the Nokia 1 Plus and Nokia 9 Pureview. These two phones are scheduled to receive the update in Q2.
