The Huawei Y9a is the latest from the company to launch in Kenya and is available in stores for Ksh 31,000.  The phone should be available through Jumia and most other smartphone retailers across the country.

The Huawei Y9a, just like most other recent smartphones from the company, does not come with Google services. This has been the case for a while but Huawei has its own alternative it called Huawei Mobile Services. The phone works great except for the fact that users do not get access to some Google services, some of which come baked in in the apps most Android users are accustomed to.

Google services aside, the Huawei Y9a is a very good phone. It does build up on the Y9 series from last year and does that really well. The Y9a may be one of the company’s key releases for 2020 just by looking at the marketing effort that has been put behind this phone. The company is heavily marketing it and this might be the first time we are seeing such a move from Huawei since the US-China trade war started.

Below is a look a the key specifications of the Huawei Y9arealme 6.
