Apple Announces Apple One – What You Need to Know

Apple one

At its Timeless Event held virtually yesterday, Apple unveiled a slew of products as well as services. Apple One was one of them, a new service slated to launch later this year.

Apple One bundles several services from the company, including  Apple Music, Apple TV Plus, Apple Arcade, Apple News Plus, iCloud, and the newly revealed Apple Fitness Plus under a single month-to-month price.

It comes in three tiers with variable prices and different limitations. On the low end, the least you will have to pay is $14.95 up to $29.95 a month for more features and services.

Pricing

Apple One has three tiers as follows;

Individual plan

Price: $14.95 per month.

Includes Apple Music, Apple TV Plus, Apple Arcade, and 50GB of iCloud.

Family plan

Price: $19.95 per month. This plan includes Apple Music, Apple TV Plus, Apple Arcade, and 200GB of iCloud. The family plan can be shared between six members.

Premier Plan

Price: $29.95 a month. Services under the premier plan have been stepped up to six; Apple Music, Apple TV Plus, Apple Arcade, 2TB iCloud storage, Apple News Plus, and Apple Fitness Plus.

Deal or No deal?

With a minimum of four services included at a minimum of $14.95, Apple One offers a good bargain. The individual price of Apple Music, Apple TV Plus, Apple Arcade, and 50GB of iCloud adds up to almost $20.96. For someone who uses the four of these, switching to Apple One is a no-brainer. The individual Apple One plan saves you $6, while the Premier plan offers a savings of over $25 per month.
