Facebook’s photo portability tool is now expanding support to include Dropbox. The company first announced the feature in December last year. Initially, Facebook only allowed users to export photos to Google’s cloud storage.

The latest expansion to include Dropbox makes it easy to export your Facebook photos to the cloud storage service without a hassle. You will find newly transferred pictures in a new “Photo Transfer” folder on Dropbox. Under the new folder, everything will be grouped by album.

Moreover, if Koofr is your preferred cloud storage service, Facebook photo portability tool now has built-in support.

Privacy is a concern and Facebook reiterate that its photo portability tool is designed with security and privacy at the core.

“We’ll ask you to re-enter your password before the transfer starts and encrypt your data as it moves between services, so you can be confident your data will be transferred securely,” the company wrote in a blog post.
