The vivo Y30 is the latest one from the company to launch in Kenya. This is a Y series device and does target the youth as has been the case with vivo. The vivo Y30 should be available in kenya for Ksh 17,000 through Jumia. This is not cheap and at this price the phone will be competing with the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 series as well as the Huawei Y8p.
Speaking on the expected launch of these two devices in Kenya Arthur Xian, vivo Kenya CEO said, “The flexible display and design market this 2020 is growing unexpectedly. The technology is expected to expand further and diverse. Our goal is to dominate in the flexible display market by introducing new products with enhanced performance and differentiated designs at an affordable price this year.”
