Instagram is rolling out Pinned comments to everyone worldwide. The company started testing the feature in May along with other features aimed at fighting bullying on the platform.

Meant to  amplify and encourage positive interactions on the platform, pinned comments give users a way to “set the tone for their account and engage with their community by pinning a select number of comments to the top of their comments thread.”

Today we’re rolling out pinned comments everywhere. 📌

A user can pin up to three top comments which will be seen at the top of the comment section by everyone.

To Pin a Comment on Instagram, tap and hold the comment then click on the “pin” icon shown either above(Android OS) or via a pop-up menu in the comment section(iOS).

Together with the Pinned comments feature, which is now official, Instagram also recently rolled out a way to help creators batch delete up to 25 spammy comments  at once.

It also introduced more granular controls on who can tag you on the platform. Using this feature, you can avoid being tagged by anyone by choosing the “No One” option tagging section.
