The Huawei Y5p is currently available in Kenya for Ksh 9,800. This is one of the handful Huawei Y series devices that mostly target the youth. Out of all the Y series devices by Huawei, The Y5 is the cheapest of them all and that is why its price of less than Ksh 10,000 makes it attractive.

The Huawei Y5p in Kenya has not been marketed as aggressively as some of the other Y series devices from the company. This is an entry level phone that will definitely sell well even without the company’s aggressive marketing. This is the sort of phone that will be attractive to people even without being pushed aggressively.

The Huawei Y5p is quite an interesting device, it does fit into the entry level category really well and should deliver on what it promises. Huawei has a history of some good entry level devices that are perfect as someone’s second smartphone to complement their primary one or even the first smartphone someone would buy after using feature phones for years.
