The Tecno Camon 12 is the latest addition to Tecno’s camera-centric line. This phone takes over from the Tecno Camon 11 from late last year. We reviewed this phone then and we loved some things about it but hated others. It was not perfect and neither is any phone on the market right now. The new Camon 12 is available on Jumia from Ksh 15,500.
The Tecno Camon 12 comes with some key upgrades but the camera is key as we expected. Camon devices have always had exceptional cameras and we were not expecting anything less with the Camon 12. It has three cameras at the back, a standard these days and these include a 16MP main camera, 8MP sensor and a 2MP sensor. For selfies, the Camon 12 has a 16MP snapper. I am expecting good results on both the front and back-facing cameras and will share my results when I am done with this phone.
Powering the Camon 12 is the MediaTek Helio P22 processor that has been paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage space. This is the same combination we have seen on the Infinix Hot 8 that is yet to be launched in Kenya. Below are some of the other specifications of the Camon 12.
