After the initial announcement of their upcoming streaming service in WWDC, Apple’s answer to Netflix will be available starting November 1st. Customers will be offered a free year of Apple TV+ subscription as a reward for buying any of Apple’s new devices including any new iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac or iPod touch as from today.

At yesterday’s announcement event, Apple TV+ was mostly positioned as the go-to place for exclusive original shows, movies and documentaries.

“With Apple TV+, we are presenting all-original stories from the best, brightest and most creative minds, and we know viewers will find their new favourite show or movie on our service,” said Zack Van Amburg, Apple’s head of Worldwide Video.

Apple TV+ will be available on November 1st in over 100 countries globally. The service includes a 7-day free trial and will be available on Apple’s TV app on iPhone (iOS 12.3 or later), iPad, Apple TV, iPod Touch, Mac among other platforms including via a dedicated website on tv.apple.com via Safari, Chrome and Firefox.

Some of the available movies at launch include; See featuring Jason Momoa (Aquaman), The morning show, Dickinson, For All Mankind, Ghostwriter, Helpsters among other Apple Original series.

Also, new shows will be added to the service each month. Some of the upcoming shows have trailers available via Apple Tv+ YouTube Channel.
