Vivo has officially unveiled its Y Series of smartphones in Kenya. The vivo Y series include the Y12, Y15 and Y17. The three smartphones have decent technical profiles that include impressive performance features, Halo FullView Display, AI powered cameras and powerful battery profiles.

These are some of the attributes that vivo is confident they will appeal to youth smartphone shoppers in Kenya.

“The Y Series is made for the youth. We are bringing our latest photography innovations to many younger consumers through our three fashionable Y Series smartphones,” said Mr. Hosea Liu, General Manager, vivo Kenya.

“With ‘Powered by Youth’ as our guiding light, the Y Series is a clear example of our commitment to bringing advanced and premium features to our energetic and dynamic consumers all around the world and from all walks of life.”

Some of the exciting camera features of the Y Series smartphones include AI Triple Camera that provide an excellent camera experience.

In addition to this, the smartphones feature a sleek design profile that gives the Y Series devices a premium look and feel, something that is often elusive on mid-range smartphones.

    Vivo Y15

Y15 is designed for heavy consumers of digital content. Y15 packs a large 6.35-inch Halo FullView Display with an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 89%.

Y15 also packs a AI Triple Camera system that is perfect for creating digital content. Y15 has a starting price of Ksh. 21,999 and is available in shades of Aqua Blue and Burgundy Red.

Y12 is the entry point to the Y Series. The Y12 targets young consumers who are always on-the-go.

The smartphone packs a 13MP Main Camera, 8MP Super-Wide-Angle Camera and the 2MP Depth Camera and in addition to this, packs a large 5000mAh battery that supports Intelligent power-saving technologies to keep you going. We will provide the official pricing details of the Y12 soon.
