Last week, Google officially revealed that the next version of its mobile operating system will go by Android 10. It was apparent that Google had officially deserted the dessert naming system for Android when no bit of Q was mentioned.

Google’s support team has already mentioned that Android 10 will be rolling out to Pixel devices as early as next week, September 3rd – to be precise. If the news is anything to go by, all Google Pixel phones including the Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Pixel 3a, Pixel 3a XL, Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixel and Pixel XL will be receiving Android 10 next week.

State of the matter

HMD Global was the first to release their Android 10 Update timeline, with the Nokia 9 PureView, Nokia 8.1 and Nokia 7.1 slated to receive the update before the end of Q4, 2019.

Xiaomi’s Global VP Manu Kumar Jain stated that their recently launched Xiaomi Mi A3 will be “among the first devices in the world” to receive the Android 10 update. He did not, however, state any update timeline on other Xiaomi devices.

However, all the phones that were under Android 10 or Android Q beta program will also likely receive the final version in September.
