Earlier this month Xiaomi Kenya opened its new CBD Mi Store – the second Mi Home Store in Kenya. The company has brought along some new products in the country. Xiaomi Kenya has stocked their Mi Band 4, and now you can also get the recently announced Xiaomi Redmi K20 in India (also called Mi 9T in global markets). Xiaomi has not officially launched the Mi 9T in Kenya but a variant of the phone is available through Avechi for Ksh 39,500.

As usual for Xiaomi, Mi 9T packs a whole lot of nifty features that make the device’s price a non-issue for buyers that want to get a better price and spec bargain.

    MI 9T features a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor, a 13MP – 124.8° – a wide-angle lens with an f/2.4 aperture and a 2X 8MP telephoto camera with an identical aperture.

On the front, you get a single 20MP motorized pop-up selfie camera. It is worth mentioning the pop-up selfie is integrated with a fall protection feature which ensures the camera retracts as soon as the device detects it is in free fall.

The display is a 6.39-inch AMOLED type with 2,340 x 1,080 resolution with HDR support.

Under the hood, the Mi 9T has Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 730 mid-range flagship processor paired with an Adreno 618GPU, 4000mAh battery with 18W fast charge support, MIUI 10.3.6 on top of Android Pie, 6 or 8GB of RAM paired with 64/128GB internal storage.

One of the exciting features on this Xiaomi device is the inclusion of a game speed booster. It optimizes the device for seamless gaming experience and also recommends games that you might like to play.

Apart from this Mi 9T also features, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC support, USB Type C, 4G LTE support, and Dual-SIM support. You can get the device in three color variants, Flame Red, Glacier Blue or Carbon Fiber Black.
