The Tecno Spark 3 series has finally been launched in Kenya. The phone comes in two variants, the standard Spark 3 that comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage space and the Spark 3 Pro that comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage space.
The Tecno Spark 3 Pro is the variant that is available in Kenya at the moment and you can get it for Ksh 12,499 from Jumia and most other retail stores. This is the first smartphone from the company to launch in Kenya this year and is replacing the Spark 2 from last year. The Tecno Spark 2 was a really good smartphone and I will be interested to see how the Spark 3 Pro compares to that.
At its price, the Tecno Spark 3 Pro will compete with devices such as the Infinix Hot 7 and the Huawei Y6 Prime 2019. This is a very competitive segment and I would love to see the one that will be a hit with the buyers.

There is a limited-edition gift hamper for those who are among the first ones to buy the Tecno Spark 3 Pro. We have seen Infinix do this with the Hot 7 and Huawei has been doing this for a while with its new smartphones.

I have the Tecno Spark 3 Pro to review and will be doing that in a couple of weeks. The standard Tecno Spark 3 is not yet available in Kenya and the company says we should be expecting it towards the end of April.
The Tecno Spark 3 Pro will be available in Bordeaux red, midnight black, champagne gold and Nebula blue, with the Spark 3 will be available in aqua blue.
