The Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 has a slightly curved back compared to the Camon 11 that has a flat back cover. Both are non-removable back covers and this means that both have non-removable batteries.
As for available colours, the Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 comes in Aurora Blue (the one in the photos), Coral Red and Midnight black. The Camon 11 on the other hand is available in Midnight Black, Aqua Blue and Hawaii Blue. The blue on the Y7 Prime 2019 has a gradient finish that looks way better than the one on the Camon 11.
The Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 has a 6.26-inch display which is slightly bigger than the 6.2-inch display on the Tecno Camon 11. Both have the same resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. As you can see, the difference between the two displays is not that major and even when using them, the experience is the same. They are both very responsive and are perfect for media consumption.
I am a big fan bigger displays and the ones on the Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 and Tecno Camon 11 are perfect for me. I am able to get some work done on my phone with both these displays and even watch a few movies during my free time.
One the Huawei Y7 Prime 2019, we do have the Dewdrop notch while on the Camon 11 we have the wide notch we get on most other smartphones. Huawei is very proud of this dewdrop notch that differentiates it from other smartphones on the market. If you are one of those people who do not like notches on your smartphones, the dewdrop one may appeal to you. If that is not the case, you can still disable it under settings.
The Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 comes with a Snapdragon 450 processor that is pared with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage space that can be expanded to 512GB using a microSD card. The Tecno Camon 11 on the other hand comes with a MediaTek Helio A22 processor.

Both the Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 and Tecno Camon 11 come with two AI cameras at the back. These are 13MP and 2MP sensors that take really good photos. You will not go wrong with either phone here but the Y7 Prime 2019 has a better AI mode than the Camon 11. With AI mode on the Huawei Y7 Prime 2019, you can enable and disable it even after taking the photo. This mode also recognizes more scenes than what the Camon 11 can recognize.
For the front facing cameras, I will have to go with the Tecno Camon 11, it takes clearer photos than the Y7 Prime 2019.
The Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 comes with a 4,000 mAh battery compared to the 3,750 mAh battery on the Camon 11. With a 4,000 mAh battery, I could get the Y7 Prime 2019 to last for up to 2 days. There is the normal battery saving mode and the ultra battery saving mode that is not available on the Tecno Camon 11.
