These are the Huawei P Smart (2019) Specs That We Know Of So Far

Huawei P Smart 2019

Huawei is about to launch its next smartphone, the Huawei P Smart (2019), in a few weeks before the end of the year. This will be the successor to the Huawei P Smart that is currently available in the country from Ksh 19,999.

The Huawei P Smart (2019) is based on the Honor 10 Lite that the company launched in China not so long ago. It is not strange for the company to base its international devices over some that it has launched in China as this has been happening for years. The P Smart (2019) will have some variations to this and will be available on global markets.

Huawei is yet to officially confirm the availability of the P Smart (2019) but there have been leaks that have given us an idea of what to expect. We expect it to have a 6.2-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Above the display will be a notch to accommodate the front-facing camera and sensors.

Powering the Huawei P Smart (2019) will be the company’s new Kirin 710 processor. This is the same processor the company is using on the Huawei Y9 2019 that you may have seen in the country the last couple of weeks. 4GB of RAM will come standard on this phone with 64GB of internal storage space. For the OS, it will come with Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI 9 on top. The company will use a 3,400 mAh battery that we still don’t know if it will support quick charging.

We do not know much about the cameras but we may have a 24MP selfie shooter and a 13MP plus 2MP at the back. These are the cameras you get on the Honor 10 Lite so it is not farfetched to expect the same on the P Smart (2019).

I will update you with more information if and when I get it.
